Doubtless Bay, in the Far North of New Zealand, has it's own locally-owned and operated homes company. The blue and white signs which are seen all over the area proudly display this most appropriate name for our area - Coastal Homes.
We also operate Small Job Van which provides a prompt, professional and reliable service for alterations, repairs, renovations and maintenance of houses, industrial and commercial premises carried out by qualified builders.

Glen and Mel Bradbury are partners in the firm and both were born and brought up in the Far North of New Zealand and have owned and operated their own construction business since 1999. The original Coastal Homes Far North Ltd and Bradbury Builders Ltd were merged into Coastal Homes (2008) Ltd in April 2008 to provide a uniform entity.
Glen is a practical builder, interested in all aspects of the business, constantly expanding his range of work and now employs 14 full-time staff including qualified carpenters, four part-time staff and has four apprentices working towards the National Certificate in Carpentry. Other appropriate tradesmen are employed as necessary.
Types of work
Coastal Homes takes on all types of residential and commercial building work, including new buildings, major renovations and remodelling, insurance repairs, local authority work, retaining walls, landscaping, boardwalks and fencing. Also site works - including section development, hole drilling, back hoeing, labour only, etc.
About Doubtless Bay
Situated on the Pacific Ocean, Doubtless Bay has a warm sub-tropical climate, relatively low rainfall and over 70kms. of unspoiled coastline and an abundance of safe beaches. Centred on the township of Mangonui, it is a holiday paradise and a wonderful place to live and work. There are daily Air New Zealand Link and Intercity bus services from Auckland and, travelling by State Highways 1 and 10, it is about four hours drive north from Auckland without stops.

How to find us
Our showroom and offices are located at 3 Walter Way, Coopers Beach. Coming from Bay of Islands on State Highway 10, pass the Coopers Beach shopping centre and Walter Way is the turning on the right with the Gasoline Alley service station on the corner. Coming from Kaitaia and Awanui on State Highway 10, Walter Way is on the left.
